About Shanedelle Norford, M. D.

Shanedelle Norford, M.D., M.S, is a native of the island of St. Kitts and has resided in Florida for over 10 years. She received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of the Virgin Islands, a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University, and a Medical Degree for Boston University School of Medicine. She also completed a four year residency program in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, and a fellowship in forensic pathology at the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department. Dr. Norford holds board certifications in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Forensic Pathology and also holds certifications in medicolegal death investigation, international forensic photography, and forensic courtroom testimony. Dr. Norford has completed hundreds of autopsies and has worked and collaborated with many Medical Examiner Offices in the U.S. and the Caribbean. In addition to serving as an Associate Medical Examiner to several Medical Examiner Offices in Florida, Dr. Norford has consulted and testified in many civil and criminal cases. She trains medical students and doctors on various aspects of forensic pathology, medicolegal death investigation, and death certification. Dr. Norford is a member of the National Association of Medical Examiners, the Florida Association of Medical Examiners; the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and she also proudly serves on the Florida Child Abuse Death Review Committee. 

Dr. Norford is an excellent and competent pathologist and will work hard to get you the answers you need and deserve. Be it an autopsy, a medical record review or questions about how and why your loved one died, Dr. Norford is up to the task and will work tirelessly to get you closure. 

In here spare time, Dr. Norford enjoys reading fiction and non-fiction novels, spending time with family, learning new skills and watching sports.
